Author Page Growing

After a concerted effort – my Facebook page has exceeded 1000 likes.

Now if I could just turn those likes into sales of book I would be a happier man.

Any hints or pointers welcome.

I have no advice but can I ask you for advice? How did you get to 1000? I’ve found Facebook to be pretty unsuccessful so far.

I paid to boost it -it was only about £20. Thought I would try it. However not really worth it unless they translate into sales somewhere along the line – still time for that I suppose. I don’t know if my new sale came as a result of that or not.

20 bucks for 1000 likes seems like a good deal. The authors who’ve translated Facebook into sales usually buy ads for their books targeted to people who are interested in the book’s subject matter, though I don’t think you’d want to shell out a ton of money without testing it with a smaller amount first.
