Dodgy Dealings?

Well, this is odd.

I recently made my novel Mankind Limited available in paperback format (see details here).

Now it seems that a used copy is being offered through amazon. (See here)

The odd thing is – I haven’t sold a single copy of the paperback version yet – so what’s going on?

Investigation underway.

    1. They are also offering my poetry book as well! I have contacted both Amazon and the seller. I just noticed also that there are now a load of resellers offering the books at all kinds of prices. I presume if they sell them I will get the same royalties!

      1. It’s so odd though that they can offer a used one when that doesn’t exist yet. I saw that there were different prices. My concern would be whether it’s possible for anyone to reproduce an ebook into print and claim the royalties for themselves. I hope I’m just being para. I’d be curious to know what the seller has to say for himself! If it turns out that it’s some legit way of selling more and you still get the same royalties you’d hope Amazon could explain that. I’ll be interested in the outcome. I thought to buy a couple for my kids for Christmas. I think it’s something they should read and would enjoy reading but I’d hate to buy them from a dodgy dealer. I’ll deal with Amazon. Keep me posted.
